This opening is for a full desk (both sales and recruiting) role that is straight commission. There is no salary. We are NOT looking for contract recruiters, staffing agency recruiters, corporate recruiters, or talent acquisition. We ARE looking for people with sales experience who are looking to transition into becoming a “head hunter” or those who already have experience running their own desk. If we don’t see business-to-business sales or full desk in your background, with a track record of success, please don’t bother applying. We don’t want to waste your time.

You would be working to find clients with hiring needs while then doing the recruiting needed to find highly qualified candidates to fully satisfy their needs. We pay an excellent commission of the profits for positions you source and fill, and ours is a VERY profitable business. You would report to the Managing Director and be on a successful team with 15 others around the country. We are veteran-owned, veteran-led, possess a great brand, have a team of experienced recruiters, have proven successful internal processes, strong financial strength, and a very experienced industry leadership team.

Dogwood Services is the sister company to Dogwood Management Partners – a 22 year old firm focused on outsourcing and contracting with the federal government up to the highest levels at multiple agencies. In short, the Dogwood Companies have developed an excellent reputation for high level recruiting, delivery, and project management while under the scrutiny of those we serve – our clients and leaders of this great country. We contract for IT services, we recruit for just about anything, and we do it all very well – as we should with the extensive experience our leadership team possesses and the trust that’s been placed in us by those we serve.

We are looking for an additional Account Executive / Full Desk Recruiter to join our trusted team. We don’t care where you live– as long as you can do the job. We don’t care how young or how old you are, what citizenship, sex or color you are, where you went to school or what kind of degree you have– or if you even have a degree. We DO care about things like ethics, honesty, excellent communications skills, client relationship management, and a habit of doing the right thing because it’s the right thing…. and RESULTS.

This is a virtual position where you work your own schedule and we provide a lot of front end process management support and backend business support. We currently have associates working under this model in four time zones.

There are NO caps on your income at Dogwood. We expect the right person for this job to bring home $160,000+ per year after a year of hard work– followed by more years with even more income, because our commission program is set up to reward achievers. We don’t re-assign accounts to others, we don’t re-align territories, and we don’t put hindrances in your path. You would be working directly for our Managing Director, who would serve as your coach and mentor. Your response to this posting will forward to him.

WHAT KIND OF SKILLS and EXPERIENCE ARE REQUIRED?

  • Extensive business to business sales experience and skills. Those without this experience will not be considered. Our in-depth training and provided tools will provide you the keys to success, but the initiative and tenacity is up to you.
  • Solid experience within a vertical market (such as technology, finance, healthcare technology, engineering, aerospace, logistics, manufacturing)
  • A track record of tenancy, drive and success.

This position is straight and significant commission on a 1099 basis to start. As soon as you demonstrate you’re what we have been looking for, we’ll discuss converting you to employee status, with benefits to include vacation, medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
